Program
Participants will gain an understanding of important professional standards and requirements as outlined in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and by the IRS, understand critical valuation approaches and the market research process, learn the requirements for thorough and compliant appraisal reports, and discuss and apply the latest tax laws applicable to appraisals – all leading to the launch of an appraisal practice or career advancement.
The program includes four virtual courses held over four weeks, including:
- PP201 Introduction to Personal Property Valuation - August 1-3, 2023
- PP202 Development of a Personal Property Appraisal: Research and Analysis - August 8-10, 2023
- PP203 Communication of a Personal Property Appraisal: Report Writing - August 15-17, 2023
- PP204 Personal Property Valuation: The Legal and Commercial Environments - August 22-24, 2023
