BV527 Financial Reporting Valuation Guidance - Key Insights for All BV Practitioners

Webinar Description

Beginning around 2001, U.S. and international accounting requirements dramatically expanded the use of fair value concepts in the preparation of financial statements. The SEC, PCAOB and other interested parties observed divergence in valuation practice which raised questions on the reliability of financial statements with significant fair value estimates. Numerous guides were developed to enhance valuation practice. While these guides were prepared specifically for fair value estimates for financial reporting, significant components of the guides have useful insights for BV practitioners performing, tax, litigation and other valuation. This presentation provides an overview of the various guides and detail insights on information of interest to all BV, appraisers.
