Course Description
Brand New OnDemand Course – Immersive, Engaging and Dynamic
BV203 builds upon the valuation foundations introduced in BV201 and BV202, expanding into more advanced topics, including those that vary in practice. In this course, students will learn when and how to apply the Asset-Based Approach, including considerations related to built-in tax issues and relevant court cases. They will explore the application of various discounts, such as those for lack of control, lack of marketability, and control premiums, among others. Through case studies, students will study the valuation of Family Limited Partnerships (FLPs), Limited Liability Companies (LLCs), and Promissory Notes. Additionally, the course emphasizes the most effective techniques for reconciling values and crafting well-documented, clearly written valuation reports.
Instructional Methods
Methods include integrated videos, animations, and interactive tools that bring concepts to life.
Course Audience
