Session Description

In this presentation, participants will learn the wide-spread contributions of Black American artists in the history of American Decorative Arts and Craft from enslaved artisans to mid-century and contemporary artists and craftspeople. The researcher will unpack growing market trends, including recent and upcoming exhibitions, research, and findings that have supported the emerging demand on these important works of art.
